From Mental Noise to Inner Clarity
Art Therapy for Adults and Children
Online worldwide · In-person in Barcelona
When life feels chaotic, we slow things down. Art therapy offers a space for moments when things feel overwhelming, confusing, or stuck and words are no longer enough.
Hello,
I am Gül- an art psychotherapist based in Barcelona and a member of the European Federation of Art Therapy (EFAT). I work with children and adults, online and in person—supporting journeys of self-discovery and emotional growth.
Beginning therapy can feel like stepping into the unknown. I offer a safe and attentive space for creative exploration, where reflection unfolds naturally and new understanding can gradually take shape.
Together, we create room for honest expression and meaningful insight, allowing what emerges in therapy to gently inform and shape your everyday life.

Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art-making as a core therapeutic modality with reflective conversation within a confidential and supportive therapeutic relationship.
Using materials like paper, paint, clay, or collage, you can explore inner experience—especially when emotions are difficult to put into words. When language reaches its limits, the creative process offers another way of thinking, feeling, and reflecting.
what is art therapy
it's not about artistic skill
You do not need to be creative or “good at art.”
Art is not a performance or an outcome — it is a way of making inner experiences visible and workable. The focus is on the process, not the product.

how art therapy can help
When words are not enough
Experiences such as grief, stress, trauma, or emotional overwhelm often resist clear narratives. Art therapy allows these experiences to take form, creating a safe distance from which they can be explored.
Feeling seen and heard
For many people—especially children, neurodivergent individuals, or those who feel pressure to explain themselves—verbal expression can feel limiting. Art therapy offers a non-verbal language for expression, regulation, and meaning-making.
During transitions
Migration, loss, identity shifts, illness, or major life changes can feel destabilising. Art therapy offers a contained space to explore what is being left behind and what is emerging.
Art therapy is not about fixing or performing. It is about creating the conditions where understanding can gradually take shape.
